Eight years ago, I was working in healthcare. I had been doing it for more than five years. I had a steady job and a career I thought I could count on.

Then something happened that I wasn't prepared for.

My dad became very ill.

I wanted to be with him, so I asked for a month off.

I couldn't get the time I had hoped for.

And that bothered me more than I expected.

Not because I hated my job.

I didn't.

But for the first time, I started thinking about how much of my life depended on a schedule I didn't completely control.

That stayed in my mind.

And it made me ask questions I had never really asked before.

Could I learn something outside of healthcare?

Could I build something of my own?

Was there something I didn't know yet?

I didn't have the answers.

And honestly, I didn't even know what I was looking for.

I just knew I wanted to understand what else was out there.

Then someone showed me an online business.

My first reaction wasn't excitement.

It was questions. 😂

What exactly is this?

How does it work?

What would I actually be doing?

Because healthcare was familiar to me.

Online business wasn't.

Marketing wasn't.

And I wasn't going to do something simply because someone told me it was a good idea.

I needed it to make sense.

So I started learning.

I watched the training.

I asked a lot of questions.

Then I learned about online marketing and how the business actually worked.

I tried things.

Some worked.

Some didn't.

So I adjusted and kept learning.

And slowly, something that had seemed completely foreign to me started making sense.

I realized I didn't need to know everything from the beginning.

But I did need to understand what I was getting into.

And that's a big reason I'm sharing this training.
